At Iowa State we have created an electronic Bibliographer's Manual
that is available on our intranet for all bibliographers to use.
Along with this it is my job as staff trainer to develop and conduct
training sessions for new staff and librarians at Iowa State related
to collection development. The extent of the training often varies
depending upon the experience of the new person or the need for
training related to something new that everyone needs to know about.
I don't necessarily do all the training, but I most often arrange for
it to happen. The manual allows all selectors to go back and get
whatever they need at any time.
Hope this helps---if you like more specifics you can contact me directly,
Diana
