Syracuse University Libraries is seeking a Head of Collections and Research Services.

Reporting to the Associate Dean for Research Excellence, the Head of Collections and Research Services leads an active, engaged unit of approximately twenty librarians and supervises four team lead librarians. The Head coordinates their efforts to build collections, develop services that support the University’s research enterprise, support new modes of scholarship and the creation/distribution of open content, and assist the Information Literacy Librarian in developing the Libraries’ Information Literacy Program. The Head guides liaison-centered services and manages strategic spending decisions for a $12M+ collections budget.
