Deadline Extended: UNC SILS Prague Summer Seminar

The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill’s School of Information and
Library Science, accredited by the American Library Association, has extended
our deadline for our Prague Summer Seminar. Our program offers participants an
opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding in a global context
while offering unique, hands-on experience by looking behind the scenes at
libraries throughout the Czech Republic. During our Prague Summer Seminar,
Participants will receive lectures from Charles University faculty and the
National Library of Technology. Participants will also visit the Klementinum
(National Library), Parliamentary Library, Libri Prohibiti, Municipal Library
of Prague, Nostic Palace, Srahov Monastery, and several regional libraries.
Lastly, participants will take a few day trips to explore castles, gardens,
and historic villages. The program is offered in partnership with Charles
University.

This seminar is available for 3 hours of credit from UNC SILS. Our seminar is
open to non-UNC graduate students as well as practicing professionals.
