In 2018, the core values of librarianship, including social responsibility,
education, democracy, and intellectual freedom, have faced one challenge
after another. How have academic and research libraries taken action to
confront these challenges? What are we doing to uphold these core values? The
ACRL/NY Symposium will focus on these themes and issues during a full day
of presentations and discussion.
