You’re welcome to browse UBC Library’s list of vendors (which is due for an update) at http://techserv.library.ubc.ca/vendors/ Some names of Asian booksellers that come to top of mind are Mary Martin (Singapore Malaysia, Indonesia, and environs), Kinokinuya (Japan), China National Pub Import & Export, China Intl Book Trading Corp, Panmun (Korea), Library of Congress Asian and South Asian acquisitions programmes... but there are so many more. If you can be more specific about what you’re looking for, focused recommendations might be possible. Our primary book vendors are YBP and Amazon, but we're interested in finding more sources for non-U.S.-based or non-English-language vendors. We currently use Casalini Libri, Schoenhof's, Aux Amateurs de Livres (Amalivre), and various Asian vendors. Who are some of your sources? Do you have any recommendations for Asian book vendors in particular? I'll be happy to compile all answers and share with the group.
