Professor Hamish Maxwell-Stewart
[Hamish Maxwell-Stewart is a professor of History at the University of Tasmania. His research interests include the history of crime, health and migration. Since 2007 he has worked with the Tasmanian Archives and Heritage Office on a series of projects that have explored the impact of penal transportation on the health of former convicts and their descendants. We are delighted that Professor Maxwell-Stewart will give a Keynote Address on Tuesday 20th September, 2016.]
