The University of Southern Mississippi invites applicants for a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track faculty position as Associate Professor/Head of Technical Services, in the University Libraries to begin July 2016.
University Libraries seeks an innovative, dynamic, and forward thinking individual to lead and administer technical services operations.  Under general supervision of the Dean of Libraries, the Head of Technical Services is responsible for the management of department operations including acquisitions, collection management, cataloging, serials & electronic resources, gift collection processing, physical processing and preservation. The Head of Technical Services will direct all aspects of technical services, including development of policies and procedures; and recruiting, scheduling, training, supervising and mentoring.
Minimum salary: $65,000
