Good morning,
A faculty member in our mass communication department has come to me with the following request:
Is there any source that lists major books of the year in categories? Categories like media, journalism, newspapers, television, advertising, new media, biographies in these areas, etc. I am looking for popular books that got good reviews, the ones destined to become classics of the field. I’d be especially interested if such a compilation was available for, say, each of the last five or 10 years.
I’m coming up blank with a resource that fits this bill (although I’ve suggested some alternatives for him). What resource(s) would you suggest? He is more interested in popular audience titles rather than academic titles.
