The Assistant Director for Systemwide Licensing will lead and manage collaborative licensing activities on behalf of the ten-campus University of California library system, including negotiating systemwide license agreements for digital scholarly content on behalf of the University of California Libraries, overseeing all phases of licensing activity from inception through acquisitions and life-cycle management, and developing and advocating for best practices in licensing and electronic resource management in various public and national fora.
