The July issue of CD HotList: New Releases for Libraries has been posted
and is viewable at http://cdhotlist.com/. As always, it’s freely available
to all and consists of brief reviews of new releases recommended to
libraries as possible acquisitions.

This month’s recommendations include world-premiere recordings of two
Masses by Francisco López Capillas; Western/Vietnamese fusion by Tri Nguyen
and the ‘Ilios Quartet; an orchestral arrangement of Claude Bolling’s
“Suite for Flute & Jazz Piano”; Terell Stafford’s tribute to Lee Morgan;
Ran Blake’s tribute to George Russell; new music from Honey Dewdrops; old
music from Banco de Gaia; and much, much more. Enjoy!
