Now in its 15th year, the Brick and Click Libraries conference is a
one-day event featuring cutting-edge technologies, practical solutions,
and timely topics for academic libraries. The conference supports the
information needs of both on-ground (brick) and online (click) students,
library professionals and paraprofessionals.
Presentation topics cover teaching visual literacy, electronic
publishing and faculty scholarship, effective marketing and design,
sustaining course reserves, assessment of classroom social media,
formative and authentic assessment of learning, ILS migration, academic
success for student athletes, mission-based change, what students want
from library social media, best practices for website usability testing,
teaching tool: citation metrics, transformative student employee
training programs, alternative PDA selection parameters, beneficial
faculty-librarian partnerships, promotional library events, integrating
research and writing support for students, improving instructional and
conference presentations.
