The ALCTS Administration of Collection Management interest Group
Saturday, June 28th, 4:30 pm to - 5:30 pm
Caesars Palace Neopolitan IV.

We will have a discussion of Hot Topics in Collection Management at ALA 
Annual in Las Vegas! Topics that are currently on the table for 
discussion include:

1) The impact of discovery layers on usage statistics (an area people 
were just getting into at MidWinter);

2) Assessing collections for accreditation – has been a topic of concern 
at several meetings I’ve been to recently

3) Workflows in collection development

4) Collection development policies – old school or wave of the future?

5) Other hot topics to be determined at the meeting
