ALCTS Administration of Collection Management IG at ALA

The ALCTS Administration of Collection Management interest Group  will 
have a discussion *of Hot Topics in Collection Management* at ALA Annual 
in Las Vegas!  Topics that are currently on the table for discussion 
include:

1)The impact of discovery layers on usage statistics (an area people 
were just getting into at MidWinter);

2)Assessing collections for accreditation -- has been a topic of concern 
at several meetings I've been to recently

3)Workflows in collection development

4)Collection development policies -- old school or wave of the future?

5) Other hot topics to be determined at the meeting
