Description
As campuses debate the opportunities and impacts of MOOCs, libraries are also
exploring the changing teaching and learning environment. This webinar will
explore the variety of roles and skills associated with successful MOOCs,
including partnerships to be fostered, opportunities to build on existing
expertise, and questions about relevance to library missions.
Presenter
Sarah Bordac is the Head of Instructional Design for the Brown University
Library, and has worked on the development of MOOCs at Brown University. She
works with issues of media and information literacy curriculum in undergraduate
teaching and learning, which draw on her skills as a librarian, instructional
designer, educational technologist in museum, library and higher education
learning environments. Sarah has an M.A. in Educational Technology from
Pepperdine University and an MLIS from Simmons College.
