Dear fellow CDL members,
I need your help, please. If you work with faculty who teach
gerontology-related classes or faculty that conducts research on
gerontology/aging studies, could you please share the online survey below with them?
In an attempt to increase the number of completed surveys, and as you know,
gerontology faculty often work in dual programs, and this makes it difficult to
identify potential survey participants, we are seeking your help in distributing
this anonymous survey for gerontology faculty in graduate-level programs
including programs offering graduate certificates in gerontology.

The deadline for the survey is March 11, but we will accept late surveys.
Thank you immensely for helping us spread the word!
Marilia
FYI. Below is the recruiting e-mail message with more details.
Dear Gerontology Faculty-
We obtained your name from your institution¡¦s website and your institution was
listed in the
Directory of Educational Programs in Gerontology and Geriatrics (2009 Ed.)
and/or in Peterson's
Graduate Programs in the Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (2013).
Your input for a gerontology study is very important to us. We, a gerontologist
(Dr. Sarah Toevs)
and two librarians (Marilia Antunez and Melissa Gains), are examining trends and
patterns of
the use of gerontology resources in graduate (master and doctoral-level)
gerontology programs
including graduate certificates. This information will be used to identify
important and emerging
resources in gerontology and to promote library services and resources available
to gerontology
faculty and students.
Please take 8-10 minutes and complete a short online survey, see link below. We
ask that you
respond to the survey from your perspective as a faculty member in a graduate
gerontology
program and complete it by March 11, 2013.
Follow this link to the Survey:
