phasing out our video collection

Hello,
Our IT department has understandably decided to stop supporting VHS players
in classrooms, so the library is going to gradually be weeding our
videotapes and/or replacing them with DVDs. We haven't purchased videos in
several years, but the ones we have still get used sometimes.
I'm curious if any other libraries have phased our their video collections
in a systematic way. What else should I think about besides running a
report of what's been used in the last few years and, as the budget
permits, replacing those with DVDs?
Thanks in advance. This list is always a help.
