Edwin Mellen Press phone calls?

I received a phone call the other day from Herbert Richardson, editor-in-chief
at Edwin Mellen Press. He left me a voicemail saying that my library had
purchased large numbers of Mellen titles in the past but very few in recent
years, and that he wanted to know why. He further expressed a willingness to
donate  books to our library.

I'm wondering whether others have fielded similar calls recently.

Please respond to me privately, and I'll summarize for the list.   I'm familiar
with Edwin Mellen Press' history and with list discussions related to its output.
