Greetings, All,
Some faculty from one department at my institution have published
edited volumes with Sense Publishers, which is based in Rotterdam and
was founded in 2004. The books seem to be edited volumes with many
chapters written by the editors or their colleagues, the chapters have
little (or no) scholarly apparatus, and they are usually more
narrative than empirically based research. I have been trying to find
some documentation as to the peer review processes at this publisher.
Is anyone familiar with this publisher and can point me in the
direction of finding out more about their academic worth?
Thank you,
