The Kalamazoo College Library invites applications for Collection Development and Digital Integration Librarian.
Under the general direction of the Library Director, the Collection Development and Digital Integration Librarian selects library materials for purchase and controls the budget for library materials acquisition. This position works closely with the Reference Department for the acquisition, access, and overall management of the library's licensed electronic resources. This position is also responsible for managing a relatively small and diminishing number of print journals and continuations. The Collection Development and Digital Integration Librarian maintains timely, accurate data about these resources in a variety of systems presently or potentially deployed, such as the link resolver, integrated library system, discovery tool, and electronic resource management system. This position is responsible for supervising staff and student assistants. The Collection Development and Digital Integration Librarian participates in appropriate faculty and professional activities, including
serving on college and departmental committees.
