CDL:  NUC aka Mansell sets

Now that it's been mentioned here :  I would be somewhat
curious :

1. How many libraries have made the decision in principle
    *not* to de-accession this gigantic printed union catalogue ?

2. Is there any library anywhere that has made the conscious
    decision to keep the thing shelved in a publicly accessible
    place ?

3. Has anyone kept any record of how often it is used
    nowadays ?
