Resource Sharing in the Digital Age
ONLY 3 DAYS LEFT FOR EARLY REGISTRATION TO THE 12th Interlending and Document
Supply (ILDS) Conference. Rates increase after this Friday, July 15.
Come to the Windy City to hear how libraries across the globe are creatively
sharing their resources to cope with shrinking library budgets, skyrocketing
collection costs, and increasingly restrictive copyright laws. You'll hear about
the latest developments in interlibrary loan: new technologies, recent cost
studies, sharing digital resources, and strategies for improving transborder
ILL. Our speakers will describe many cutting-edge projects, from cooperative
collection development ventures to shared storage facilities to
purchase-on-demand programs. Abstracts for all conference papers are available here.
