-----Collection Management Research Forum at ALA Annual

The Collection Management Section of the Association for Library Collections &
Technical Services invites you to attend a research forum:

“Emerging Research in Collection Management & Development Forum”

Sponsored by the Collection Management Section, ALCTS

Sunday, June 26, 4:00pm—5:30pm

Morial Convention Center 269

The purpose of this forum is to nurture new authors by giving them an
opportunity to present research and receive feedback as they prepare manuscripts
for publication. Proposals for the forum were refereed by the ALCTS/CMS
Publications Committee. The first presentation, by Douglas Jones, University of
Arizona, is entitled “Assessment of a Fully Integrated Patron Driven Access
(PDA) Model to Provide English Language Books at the University of Arizona.”
The second presentation, by Heather Hill, University of Western Ontario, and
Jenny Bossaller, University of Missouri, is entitled “Breaking Out of the Silo:
Public Library Use of Free Online Resources.”

We hope that you can join us for an interesting program that will highlight
emerging research in collection management and development.
