Something to Talk About: Changes in the Selection, Promotion and
    Use of Reference Collections
    Saturday, June 26, 2010, 10:30 A.M.-12:00 P.M.; Beacon Hotel—Overlook Room

This CODES/RSS Dual Assignments Discussion Group will focus on all
aspects of reference collection development. How are selection
decisions made? Are electronic resources always preferred? How are
budgets determined? Are staffing changes at reference desks affecting
use of materials? How are libraries promoting reference collections?
Reference services are rapidly changing in libraries throughout the
country and accordingly reference collections are affected in many
ways. Please join us for an interesting and lively discussion as we
talk about all aspects of print and electronic reference collection
development—what’s going on now and what can can we anticipate in the
future. All registered attendees are welcome.
