Position Opening – Collection Management Librarian

The Collection Management Librarian works cooperatively with library faculty and staff to 
adopt new digital and bibliographic technologies, manage the integrated library system 
(ILS), provide direct supervision of cataloging, acquisitions and serials operations, and 
provide statistical and budgetary reports as needed.

This is a full-time 12 month non-tenured faculty rank position.

Required:

ALA-accredited Masters Degree in library science/information science.

3-5 years experience in a library technical services environment, preferably in 
cataloging, acquisitions or serials; original and copy cataloging experience; 1-3 years 
experience with integrated library systems; project management experience.

Preferred:

Supervisory experience; experience using OCLC Connexion; experience using UNIX/LINUX/XML 
or a similar programming language to implement system changes at the database server 
level; experience with producing reports using MS Access or a similar reporting 
application; experience using an Electronic Resource Management System, such as Serials 
Solutions, TDNet, etc.
