> *Qualifications:*

> _Requirements:_ Masters degree accredited by the American Library
> Association. Three years relevant professional experience in
> acquisitions. Strong computer skills, including experience with
> bibliographic utilities and automated library management systems such
> as Voyager. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
> Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
> Initiative, flexibility and a strong service orientation are essential.
>
> _Preferred:_ Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new and changing
> situations. Demonstrated ability to analyze the operational needs of
> functional areas. General knowledge of reference and collection
> development. An additional graduate degree is desirable. Knowledge of
> one or more Western European languages, preferably Spanish.
