>The University of Central Florida Libraries is seeking an innovative

>Responsibilities:  Plans and leads implementation of traditional,

>serials management, electronic resources licensing, and collection

>two department heads, nine faculty librarians, and twenty support staff;
>fosters effective working relationships with all constituents;
>contributes to system-wide planning and policy making; represents the
>Libraries in a wide range of consortia and partnerships at the state,

>Qualifications: Required: Masters degree from an ALA-Accredited
>institution and a minimum of five years post-MLS experience managing or
>supervising in an academic library. Preferred: knowledge of and
>substantial operational experience in technical services, collections,
>and budgeting; knowledge of appropriate information technology
>applications such as Ex Libris, (ALEPH, SFX, MetaLib); knowledge of
>collections and technical services automation, issues, and trends;
>substantial academic library experience in progressively more
>responsible positions; experience administering a major unit within a
