The discussion will focus on the 7 Measures of Success as they apply
to technical services. Small groups will consider each of the 7
measures within the three guiding principles: 1) commitment to purpose
(a customer service culture and alignment with mission); 2) commitment
to analysis and feedback (data driven strategies and engagement in
dialog and ideas); and 3) commitment to action (adaptability and
alliance building). Participants will relate them to real life
examples from their work environments.
We will also conduct an election for the group's chair for the next year.
Several long-term members of the group's steering team have retired
from the team over the last few years. If you have a strong interest
in technical services issues and a desire to work with a group of
people committed to putting on programs and topics of interest to the
technical services community, let us know at the meeting of your
interest in joining the steering team.
