I'm looking for a resource (preferably online) which list books that would
be considered "core" in a science (not medical) collection. Any help will
be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Resources for College Libraries is both online and in print. It provides
lists of core titles for undergraduate libraries in all the core
disciplines. The website (http://rclweb.net <http://rclweb.net/>) is
subscription only.
