ebrary, an academic ebook aggregator (http://www.ebrary.com), offers
some nice online resources that may meet your needs nicely.
The Datamonitor country reports are one of these. For a description

ebrary also carries OECD, World Bank, and Rand Corporation publications,
to name a few, that are useful in providing country-specific
information.
They also carry more popular level 'tourist & travel guide' sorts of
