A task group from the Council of Prairie and Pacific University Libraries
(COPPUL) is seeking to gain a better understanding of the processes and
guidelines that academic libraries follow, when they conduct an assessment
of their collections, either to measure their collection support for a
proposed new graduate program or to review collection support for existing
graduate programs at their university. We would be grateful if you would
take a few moments to complete the following survey.

There are no risks associated with participating in this survey. Your
participation will assist librarians in developing the most effective
methods for evaluating their collections, as they pertain to graduate
courses. The responses will be stored in a password protected file and the
data from the survey will not be distributed to any third party. Clicking
on the following URL will be understood as consenting to participate in
this survey. Participants may refuse to answer any question(s) and may
withdraw at any time without consequence.

A detailed summary of the overall results of the data will be presented at
a COPPUL meeting in Sept., 2007. None of the names of any participants who
choose to identify themselves or their institutions will be included in the
presentation of the results of this survey.
(Deadline: 15 June 2007)
