Note: This message is being sent to several other listservs; my apologies
for duplication.

We started our electronic reserves system nearly three years ago, and over
time are finding the costs VERY expensive as more faculty become aware of
and use the service. We think this is a positive benefit for faculty and
students and support and promote its use.

I am wondering how you all handle your e-reserve copyright compliance fees,
and have some questions that I am hoping you all can help us with:

Does your library absorb the entire cost (as we do at this point)?
Do your academic departments contribute to the costs in any way?
Do you place limits on the number of articles placed by faculty on e-reserve?
Or have you developed something completely different?

All comments and suggestions are welcome.

Best,

Kim
