Associate University Librarian, Collection Services and Assessment.

The Dr. John Archer Library of the University of
Regina is accepting applications for the position
of Associate University Librarian, Collection Services and Assessment.

Reporting to the University Librarian, this
position has broad oversight of and provides
leadership in collection development, the
acquisition and processing of the Library?trade;s
collections, assessment of library services, and
in the development of strategic plans related to
these areas.  The Head of Technical Services, the
Manager of Collection Development, the University
Archivist, and the Assessment Librarian report to
this position.  This is an out of scope,
administrative position and salary will be
commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Requirements:  University degree, postgraduate
and librarianship qualifications from an ALA
accredited institution.   Proven expertise and
extensive experience in at least one aspect of
the position, Technical Services, Collection
Development, or Library Assessment. Substantial
management experience within the context of an academic or research
library.
