Collections 2007:
Reinvigorating Collection Development and Management

Keynote Speaker:

Martin Levin, the
Books editor of the Globe and Mail. Martin*s presentation will be
entitled Confessions of a Literary Editor.

Martin Levin has been the Books editor of the Globe and Mail since
1996, having been its ideas columnist for three years. Before that, his
journalistically varied, even chequered, career, included stints as
editor of The Jewish Post and Seniors Today in Winnipeg, of Innings, a
serious baseball publication in Toronto and as a publications manager
for Southam. He is also a contributor to several books, most recently
as an essayist for What I Meant to Say...., a collection of essays by
men. His ambition know is to see a play he has co-written about
famously terrible film director Ed Wood, be produced.
