Peepal Tree Press <http://www.peepaltreepress.com/> out of Leeds, UK
specializes in Caribbean literature, in particular Guyanese literature.
They also publish some Guyanese history, travel accounts, etc. The
owner, Jeremy Poynting, has written an overview of Guyanese
publications by Peepal Tree,

Also, the Bank of Guyana will send you their publications for free.
Contact info at: <http://www.bankofguyana.org.gy/>.
As for in-country vendors, there are few bookstores in Georgetown, but
they don't really specialize in Guyanese publications, and what they
do sell usually comes from the UK or the USA. UWI and Ian Randle
publishers will also publish on Guyana, although sporadically.
You may want to also try the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), the
regional economic bloc of the non-Hispanic Caribbean. They are
headquartered in Georgetown, but they represent the region, so they do
not strictly cover Guyana.

The Guyanese National Bibliography provides a listing of books
published in Guyana based on the items deposited in the National
Library. The last issue of GNB(in our collection)was the 2004 issue.
