Who's reading print newspapers these days? Use has plummeted here, and we
have been cutting back on subscriptions, with some of the savings being
used to support other formats. If the trend is general, how have others
responded? Has anyone gone cold turkey, and cancelled all, or almost all
paper copies? How did the campus react?
We also find that actual use of print newspapers falls far short of faculty
*perceptions* of current need or use. I think the same can be said for
other types of resources -- making our work just a bit more challenging?
