I wanted to respond to this comment that Paul reported. "One pertinent
comment was that it was not the fault of a particular department that
their average prices were much higher than others and it would be
unfair to discriminate." The reason we use price as one of the
variables in our allocation formula is to compensate for, rather than
penalize, disciples with higher priced titles. The higher their
average price, the more money they receive.
