The ALCTS CMDS Collection Development for the Practitioner Interest
Group will meet in San Antonio on Sunday, January 22, from 1:30 p.m.–3
p.m. in the Veramendi Room at La Mansion del Rio.
Time permitting, topics for discussion will include:
*Report on the Chief Collection Development Officers of Large Research
Libraries Discussion Group meeting scheduled for Saturday morning, and
discussion of issues of interest related to this meeting. [Detailed

*Off-site storage: criteria for selection of materials for storageis
it possible to accommodate the needs of various disciplines and
constituencies?;
*Serials review as part of the budget reduction process: targeted
