Our library is considering the possibility of setting up one or more
television viewing rooms dedicated to tv programing from other countries.

Have any of your libraries subscribed to one of the satellite tv
networks such as Dish Network and could you share advice on setting up
such a service with this list?

Thanks.

Hi,

Our media person says she'd like to provide livestreaming foreign
television, but-
1) it's expensive and
2) who's our audience for this? There haven't been (m)any requests.

To my great delight, I find that I can watch some TV free online!

Try this free site for livestreaming TV. (Results of a Google search
"watch german television free online".)

No doubt the full variety of what is available (in Europe, to
tax-paying citizens) is not available free online. But perhaps what's
available free online is good enough for most pedagogical purposes?
