Hello.
I realize that there was a thread this past spring about purchasing and
identifying public performance rights (ppr) for videos. My question is do
libraries have policies for restricting circulating very expensive or
esoteric ppr videos? I'm looking at titles from independent vendors such as
Bullfrog Films, First Run/Icarus Films and New Day Films. Replacing some of
these lost or damaged videos would be tremondously expensive. My library
does not yet have a properly equipped video viewing room for patrons to
comfortably watch movies and documentaries.
Thanks, Michael
