RUSA CODES Dual Assignments Discussion Group; Saturday, 6/25/2005, 
9:30-11:00 a.m., Hilton Conference Room 4F

Librarians continue to face stagnant or declining materials budgets and 
ever increasing numbers of print and electronic resources to consider for 
purchase. We will discuss on-the-job training that teaches selectors how to 
make the best decisions to meet user needs economically and efficiently.
It will be interesting to find out how colleagues in different institutions 
develop their skills in this critical area.

This Discussion Group is for everyone who is responsible for collection 
development and also has other assignments such as reference desk staffing, 
library instruction and programming, etc.

I hope this will be an informative and lively discussion!
