=====

In the Phoenix Public Library we have both cataloged and uncataloged
paperback collections.

Since many first time authors are only published in paperback we do
catalog paperbacks bought from reviews or established authors/series.

We purchase series paperbacks for children and teens but do not catalog
these. We accept donations of paperbacks for adults and if we want to
add
to collection we decide if we want to add it as a cataloged item or as a
generic paperback (circulated under a generic "paperback" record).

We do catalog graphic novels we purchase- whether in a series or not.
