I have received the following request from a faculty member, looking
for digital maps. Does anyone know of any material that meets his
needs as outlined below? Please reply directly to me, and if there is
interest, I will report to the list. Any help would be much
appreciated. Thank you,

The query--

Digital Maps on CD-ROM

NOTE: Maps should be as detailed as possible; as few flat outline maps
as possible. These should be maps only; they should NOT be bundled on
CD-ROM with lesson plans or other ancillary materials like photos of
historical sites or cultural artifacts (this raises the cost
substantially for very little payback). As many as possible
(especially large scale) should provide the ability to zoom without
losing much detail.
