Hello, my question is for those of you who assess the business portions of your
circulating books collections.

Although not a business specialist, I have primary responsibility for weeding our circulating
business books.  Our base criteria for considering something for withdrawal are no use
either in-house or through check-out for ten years.

I notice that our AMA Research Study series - for which we have nothing since 1970 - fits
the withdrawal criteria, it has shown no use of any kind for ten years.  I also see that
this set has been archived to a microformat, I believe by UMI.  Is this set sufficiently
well regarded that I should retain it?  Or is it considered ephemeral or obsolete so
that I can safely withdraw it?  Looking through the titles I get the sense the
content is obsolete, and am inclined to withdraw.

Thanks for your reactions, Trudy.
