Apologies if this is a topic which has recently been discussed on this
list, but I was hoping that some of you might have some experience with the
Best Books for Academic Libraries Database Comparison Service.

We are a two year college that will in all likelihood become a four year
degree-granting institution within the next couple of years. We are
undertaking a collection assessment in anticipation of the accreditation
requirements, and are considering the Best Books Database Comparison service.

Has anyone out there used this service for your own collection assessment,
and if so, would you be willing to comment on results
(satisfactory/unsatisfactory), ease of use, quality of comparison, etc.
(i.e. anything you would care to comment on)? Any information would be
much appreciated.
