CD folks -

[This message is being cross-posted to several lists.]

I will be editing an issue of "Against the Grain" on cooperative
collection development, possibly for a fall 2004 issue.

I have a few articles lined up, but would like to get a few more. I'm
looking for articles that focus on-

-	A successful or potentially successful cooperative collection
development project (including related sharing of stuff such as
storage, reserves, circulation, library of record).

-	OR one or two barriers that you have faced and how you overcame them
or barriers that you are facing and how you might deal with them.

-	Preference will be given to projects dealing with print materials or
physical media (not ejournals, ebooks) but a digitization project
arising out of coop. CD efforts would be a great addition.

Please respond to me by November 1, if you are interested in
submitting an article, and let me know the topic of your article.

If you are not familiar with Against the Grain - It is very informal,
and is 'your key to the latest news about libraries, publishers, book
jobbers, and subscription agents. It is a unique collection of
reports on the issues, literature, and people that impact the world of
books and journals." See the website at
http://www.against-the-grain.com.

Articles should be around 2000 words in length. The deadline for full
article submission to me is around March 2004, and them for me to
submit to ATG by late June 2004 for (hopefully) the September 2004 issue.

Again, please respond to me by November 1 if you are interested in
submitting an article and what the likely topic will be.

Thanks much!
