Everyone:

I have a couple of questions that I am hoping the list can
help with.  A friend who is a faculty member would like to
know how to find sales figures for recently published books.
I know Amazon lists sales rankings, but not sales figures,
and Amazon only tracks their own sales.  Is this information
publicly available anywhere?

Also, is there a quick way of determining how many weeks a
given title spent on the New York Times bestseller list?
I mean without going back and looking at the NYTBR for each
title.
