I wondered if anyone out there had done an analysis on these three
interfaces. We have the OVID interface right now and I am getting
complaints that the OVID interface does not include as much data and
is much more difficult to search than the others. I am not able to
see the difference myself, except that OVID tends to work well with
very structured databases, which MLA is not. However, I am always able
to get good precision and recall when I search it.

The bottom line is that the OVID interface is much cheaper than the
others, which, of course, makes it more attractive. If anyone has had
experience with both and would like to share information,

	Please e-mail me directly, C60MHM1_at_wpo.cso.niu.edu

If there is interest, I will summarize for the list.

   Best Regards,
     Mary Munroe
