This note is cross-posted to several lists--I apologize for any duplication.

I am working to identify a "core list of essential databases" for an
undergraduate
institution. I've seen such lists for collections within specific disciplines,
but not
for a general undergraduate collection.

I'd certainly start with some general full-text aggregated databases
(EBSCO, Proquest, Lexis, etc.)...

Do any of you out there have any thoughts or ideas? I would really
appreciate any assistance you (all) can provide--my first meeting is at the end
of next week (7 March).

Thanks to you all in advance.
