It is the beginning of the fall term in North America and Lynn and I are
receiving daily queries from people wondering if they have successfully
subscribed to Colldv-l. They wonder because there is no traffic on the
list at the moment. This note is to assure those new subscribers that
the list does exist. Soon one of the 2300 subscribers will send
a posting and we will be up and running.
