In the course of helping a student at the RefDesk last night, a 
colleague of mine came across references to this series (see subj line) 
in PAIS.  A search of OCLC shows the series to be lightly held in the 
US.  Even so, I'm wondering if any my listmates here have seen this 
series and can provide me with any evaluative comments.

The URL is http://www.global-issues.co.uk.  "UGI" is a subsidiary of
European Schoolbooks Ltd.
